Welcome

We are tiny market garden and wildlife site near the Leicestershire village of Scalford on the southern fringe of the Vale of Belvoir, established in 2024 by Jonny Gutteridge, a transformative coach and enthusiastic grower.

The word kaleidoscope derives from the Greek words ‘kalos’ meaning beautiful, ‘eidos’ meaning something like form or essence, and ‘scopos’ meaning watcher, guardian and purpose.

The modern kaleidoscope is a child’s toy that enables us to see, control, change and enjoy.

The vision for Kaleidoscope Field Farm is to encompass all of these ideas. Seeing the beauty of nature and responding to it – whether as visitors to the site or as consumers of our fruit, vegetables, nuts and flowers.

We offer coaching services, conservation experiences and beautiful natural produce grown sustainably without herbicides or pesticides.
